Colorado State University Gun Ban

I went to Colorado State University and shook hands and thanked some of the students running the petition drive to protect their second amendment rights on campus.

For those who don't know, they are petitioning for the right to carry on campus. They have had this right for some time and campus crime has dropped. All they are asking is that their voices be considered.

The student government overwhelmingly opposed a ban (21 to 3) and the CSU Board of Governors voted for the ban 7 to 0.  This is a microcosm of the same types of things that go on in our government at the higher levels. I pledge my support and wish these students well in their fight.  Our future is indeed bright.
